Doug Spagnola

DIRECTOR: Doug is excited to be working with such a talented cast and crew as this. Doug most recently directed and produced "Wonderland In Alice: the Uncertainty Principle" with his company eXit Productions, as well as the hit cabaret series "Unplugged." He recently developed and directed the new musical "R.R.R.E.D." in NYC and Los Angels. Doug directed DJM Production's hit theater-of-the-absurd play "Tune In Tomorrow" last year and was seen in DJM Production's production of "Chicken Delight" here at the L'il Peach. Doug was the Assistant Director of DJM's production of "Ibsen's Ghosts." Favorite regional credits include: Martinez in "Take Me Out," Ren in "Footloose," Boy in "The Play About The Baby," Mark in "The Shadow Box," Vinnie Black in "Tony n' Tina's Wedding," Keith in "Betty's Summer Vacation" and John Merrick in "The Elephant Man." Doug also spent time last year touring the South East with a children's theatre company and has enjoyed a number of roles in many independent films. A special thanks to Dave and the rest of the "M" cast and crew for making him feel at home in the L'il Peach.

  
 

Miriam Hyfler

STAGE MANAGER: Miriam's stage management/assistant stage management credits include "Hamlet,Constant Couple," "The Mandrake" (Pearl Theatre Company), "Foggy Bottom" (Abingdon Theatre Company), "Fraulein Else" (Alpenglow Productions), "The Frugal Repast" (Abingdon Theatre Company), "Desire in the Suburbs" (WorkShop Theater Company), the Peterborough Players 2007 summer season, "On the Verge," "Antigone," "I Have Before Me A Remarkable Document Given To Me By A Young Lady From Rwanda" (Phoenix Theatre Ensemble), "Peep Show Male" (DJM Productions), "Wonderland in Alice" (Exit Productions), and most recently "Drs. Jane and Alexander" for the Festival of Jewish Theatre.

 

  
 

Dave McCracken

ADAPTOR / PRODUCER: Dave is
the President of DJM Productions, Inc. and is proud to be a member of The Glines, the TONY Award winning production company behind the Broadway productions of "Torch Song Trilogy" and "As Is." Dave is fresh off his recent hit production of "An Evening With Eddie: Shadows of Poe" from this past April. In 2008, Dave produced and directed his original play "Fever" at DJM Productions, a drama loosely based on Sophocles' classic tragedy "Philoctetes." The 2008 season also saw Dave produce and direct his dirty, little musical comedy hit "Peep Show Male." Dave recently produced his original theatre-of-the-absurd play "Tune In Tomorrow," based on fourteen period radio plays from the early 1940's,
directed by Doug Spagnola. The 2006 season saw Dave's new adaptation of "Ibsen's Ghosts" which Dave produced for DJM and was directed by Karen Case Cook. Dave has directed many other New York productions including DJM Productions' "Body and Soul" and "Chicken Delight" by John Glines, "I Owe You My Life," "Third and Oak: The Laundromat" by Pulitzer Prize winner Marsha Norman, a hit revival of John Patrick's "The Curious Savage", and produced a revival of "Mass Appeal" in New York City where playwright Bill C. Davis wrote new text just for DJM's production under the direction of Karen Case Cook. Dave has been a union actor for over twenty-five years here in New York City and has been a stage actor for over forty years. He is honored to be working with such a talented cast and crew as these guys/gals are.
